Positive Caregiving Support Mentor, Coach, Speaker, Advocate
Sue Ryan is a transition strategist. As a coach, caregiver, educator, author, speaker, storyteller and advocate, she has helped people all over the world manage the challenges associated with major life changes. Sue has helped organizations and leaders, individuals, groups and families navigate the move from where they are to where they know they want to be.
Nurizon has partnered with Sue for all of these reasons – and more. For more than 35 years, she’s offered families and their loved ones non-professional caregiving support and is currently caring for her husband through his diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease. Along the way, she developed her trademark perspective – massive acceptance and radical presence™.
As your mentor, Sue will help you move from fear, frustration and the feeling of being overwhelmed, to feeling confident, balanced and supported in your caregiving role.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, take a minute to absorb just a few of Sue’s signature affirmations:
“I choose to care from a place of love.”
“I will never be alone. Help and care are all around me. I receive so I can give.”
“Massive acceptance and radical presence give me the gift of living each moment from its greatest potential.”

Tip 1: Embrace your unique perspectives to live authentically.
Tip 2: Evaluate your beliefs to be sure they still service you.
Tip 3: Break things down into manageable pieces so they won’t overwhelm you.
Tip 4: Manage important conversations and relationships so they support, rather than hinder you.
Fifty Plus Personal Training
Personal training can help our clients improve their health and fitness by teaching them how to adopt a healthier lifestyle through exercise. Exercise programs are developed based on your individual fitness level, medical history, needs, and goals. And it can all be done in the convenience of your home.
We’ve partnered with Angela Gagauf because of her specialty in helping clients transition from medical management and physical therapy to a regular physical activity program.
Angela is a Medical Exercise Specialist who helps people in the Naples area regain a level of fitness and well-being that enhances every aspect of their lives. She specializes in exercise programs for clients with chronic medical conditions, or those who have recently been discharged from physical therapy, chiropractic, or medical care.
Angela works with clients who have hypertension, osteoporosis, diabetes, joint replacements, arthritis, back issues and neurologic disorders. Wellness + Nutrition – Health Span Solutions
Patricia Iorio has dedicated her career to the belief that wellness is something that everyone can achieve – at any age and at every stage. Her experience spans everything from one-to-one nutritional coaching to leadership of a national team of dietitians providing services to more than 400 senior living communities across the country. Throughout, she’s been a mentor, motivator, counselor and trainer to people pursuing wellness through nutrition — for themselves and others.
Pat started Health Span Solutions in 2013 to support individuals, companies and families in pursuit of better health and wellness through nutrition. Her years of work with seniors has led her to a deep understanding of the issues that cause so many to deal with heightened GI issues. With individualized counselling for all health conditions and diseases, her services vary for each client, but typically zero in on the practical steps you can take to better digest and absorb healthy foods
Meeting with each client online or in person, Pat will begin with a health assessment and goal setting. After discussing your health goals, medical background, allergies and preferences, you’ll learn about your own unique nutritional needs and master the art and science of healthy eating with personalized meal plans. Personalized meal planning services can remove the barriers of time, complexity and stress associated with healthy eating.

Culinary Services – Chefs for Seniors
Adhering to a healthy meal plan can do wonders for wellbeing at every age and every stage. The social and physical benefits of a well-cooked meal extend far beyond the food’s nutritional value. We firmly believe that having limited mobility, dexterity or cognition should never be a prescription for having a limited menu!
That’s why Nurizon has partnered with Chefs for Seniors — to offer you or our loved ones meals that engage your senses, enrich your soul and nourish your body.
Our cooking follows the premises of the Mediterranean Diet, which was inspired by the traditional eating habits of the amazingly healthy people living near the Mediterranean Sea. Our menus feature a heavy dose of fruits and vegetables, olive oil, legumes, unrefined cereals and fish. We use moderate amounts of dairy products and other non-fish proteins. You pick the menu from a collection of more than 70 to last you for one or several weeks. Within hours of your delivery, we’ve shopped and cooked the meals in your home or our own certified-safe commercial kitchen. Your meals are delivered in individual packages that are dated and labelled for immediate use or storage in your refrigerator or freezer.
Meals are cooked just for you, so we can tweak recipes to suit your needs and preferences. As advocates for your health (or the health of your loved one), we’re also avid practitioners of “stealth health,” finding many creative and unseen ways to “hide the spinach” or other health boosters.
For so many of us, great food the been highlight of our lives. Chefs for Seniors will enliven your kitchen and your table with the joy of cooking and eating beautiful, chef-made meals.
